Security and data

• Timax is operated from the United Kingdom. Data is processed primarily in the UK or EEA under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
• Each company's data is kept separate from every other company's.
• Roles and permissions control access, down to who sees charge rates. Two-factor authentication can be required.
• Changes to officers, shifts, patterns and the organisation are kept on an unalterable audit record. Administrative access by Timax staff is logged.
• In the officer app, location is captured only when an officer books on, checks in, books off or raises a panic alert, and only after they allow location access on their phone. It is not tracked in the background.
• Clients see only what the security company chooses to show.
